Funny enough, it was much easier if I were willing to go for the Spyder.

But doubtful you'd get a Spyder at $5K over in the Bay Area.

The typical MY rollover is right after the European August vacation, but there are exceptions. I had a MY1996 993 coupe that was built in July 1995.

I have no idea what Porsche's plans are for the 718 platform, but if there is to be no MY2024 718s I wonder why there is a new production line planned. Also, given the problems VW is having with their vehicle software company, it's likely many of their EVs could have delayed introductions. My dealer believes they will get some allocations in Q1 2023, but nobody is certain. All we can do is hope for the best.

Not sure if anyone is looking for a GT4RS allocation but Walnut Creek Porsche in Northern California just hinted to me that they might have an allocation available. Unsure of ADM as I didn't ask. But the sales rep there said he might have an RS allocation available when he asked about the status of my GT4 order. Sounded like he was willing to give it to me if it meant my local business. But that's just more money than I can hope to afford right now. For fun I specced out my perfect RS and it comes out to 181k before ADM.

Didn't know you had an inbound GT4 to Walnut Creek, that's where my CGTS4.0 is headed

What's your estimated pickup date?

Haha actually mines going to the LA PEC center. But I do live in the Bay Area and travel up to that area quite often. Pickup date is scheduled for Jan 13th. The GT4 is from a dealership out in Oklahoma but I decided to keep it local for my Carrera purchase since its going to be for my girlfriend and don't want to deal with out of state purchase again.

Mind sharing if you paid an ADM at Walnut Creek? I’ve been on their list for a few months for a GTS 4.0, but finally went out of state as I wasn’t hopeful.

That's too much to me for a 718. Lots of other ways to spend 1/5 of a mil.

yeah honestly I kind of agree. As much as I would love to have that GT3 engine, there's no way I'm a good enough driver to know what to do with the increase in performance.

As much as I’d love to hear that screaming engine, the decibel is bad for your hearing. One should wear ear plug when driving it.

It’s perfectly fine when just cruising with everything in normal settings

What car? If its a GTS then close to MSRP shouldn't be out of the question with some negotiating. If its for the GT4/Spyder, the lowest ive seen is 15k ADM.
