Only people getting MSRP allocations are those that have been on MSRP only dealer lists for a very long time or have a very large purchase history or trade in another Porsche at a favorable price to the dealer. If you have none of those you aren't receiving an MSRP allocation in today's timeline.

$5,000 ADM. This is my first time buying a Porsche and just now building my relationship with the dealer and sales team. I put my $1,000 deposit down in January and was told I would get a car in the summer time.
My buddy who has been buying from them for many years and has purchased many GT cars doesn't pay an ADM.
All in all, $5,000 to build the car I want and only waited about 5 months to get my allocation without any games or gimmicks

1. Get on an MSRP only dealer list and potentially never seen an allocation but small chance you get one.
2. Pay a small ADM and hope your name/number comes up on the list at a dealer:5-10k
3. Pay a "market" appropriate ADM which is about 20k right now to get an open allocation or the next available allocation.
4. Pay 20k-30k over MSRP for a "used" Spyder/GT4 with most under 5k miles but you get the car you want now instead of playing games or waiting 6-12months before a car is in your hand with some options not being available due to supply chain.
I went with option #4 but luckily did not pay "market" above MSRP for my used 6MT/PCCB/LWB Spyder.

$5,000 ADM to get an allocation isn't bad, although alot of people end up still not getting one when "promised" if they are on a list and don't get an actual allocation. The choice most people have to make in today's market with no prior purchase history or relationship is:

Curious, working to understand the correlation, your reference to 'market' is that plus $20-30K, and you are saying you did not have to go that high? If so congrats...
Link to the arrival/brought it home pictures?

ooooh, I thought this was for a GT car. It is what it is, I suppose. No need to cancel your order though OP. Kind of sucks, but you will be getting the car soon, so look on the bright side.

I found one at MSRP but it was an inventory vehicle. I cannot confirm if the 4cylinder models are going for sticker or have an ADM.

The market on new and used ones seems to be about 10-15k over the MSRP.

This is a question only you can answer, if the car is really what you want and the price is in 'your' budget for this car then make your choice that way, prices are up almost everywhere and opportunities are when they present.
