I'm in the GTA, and I don't know of any Canadian 718 GT4/Spyder allocations released since early January. I was expecting something in March as many US dealers received some around that time, but it doesn't appear we've had any up north in the last 2 months.
Correct for GTA allocations. I'm also in the GTA and waiting for one. I'm next on the list so hopefully they come soon. Nearly no sports car allocations were given out at all in March for the GTA. A single 911 allocation here and there but most dealerships got 0 allocations in March.

Seems like very little sports car allocations at all in the last 12 months. I also have heard from dealers that GT4 and Spyder production is ending by December 31, 2022. If true, that will likely leave many still on the waiting list and drive used prices up even further for these exclusive vehicles. Getting a new Porsche is an adventure!

That seems to hold with what I have heard out here. Not many allocations at all yet for 2022, but sounds positive from dealer for those near top of the list for news in May. Perhaps they will get quite a few in May to make up for limited allocations in 2022 to date. Waiting is not fun.

Another dealer has mentioned June for allocations.

You'll find that dealers' predictions on when they will receive future allocations are only slightly less accurate than their ability to predict the final scores for all this week's sporting events.
SAs are the worst. At least GMs don't generally say much of anything.

I should have put an asterisk noting this as I fully agree. The May, and now June comments. have all been not from SAs but Sales and General Managers for what it is worth.

Have you asked your dealer when they expect to hear about next round of allocations? Curious what they say. Porsche Quebec told me June.

I was initially quoted late 2021 but as we can see now that did not happen, last time I asked (January), my SA told me that I was 2nd in line and ended the email with a "talk to you soon" but I don't have any more specific info. I'll send him an email and get back to you with what he says. How long have you been on a waiting list for?

McKenna Porsche down to a GT4 in June. Somebody took the Spyder allocation already.

If they offered it for 5-10k then that would have been "good" in today's market. I'm seeing allocations go for around 20k over and dealers offering to put you to the top of a list for the next allocation at 15-20 over from those I've asked. The interesting part is used Spyders are also trading at 10-20k above MSRP(bigger listing prices but those are sitting for months).
