Does having a sought after trade like a GTS4.0 help you rise to the top of allocation lists.

Ive heard that from some dealers it does. Since there is such a demand for used cars as well, it tips the hat vs the person who is just looking for a cash/straight deal…

trying to make it a win/win for the dealer and the trader

Absolutely. You are doubling the dealer’s revenue on the transaction when you are trading in a GTS 4.0 that the dealer knows they can flip immediately. Nearly any dealer would give a customer in that position top priority, regardless of “waitlist” customers with no trade.

You should have gotten a Porsche Build Sheet Retail. On it you’ll find MY, MSRP, Comm num, your details, etc…

Previous 3 MYs think the combined price increase just more than a grand. Given the demand and inflation even more of a bargain!

A dealer who does that to a customer with a deposit has no integrity.

Mine has done everything they said they would and more. I think sometimes you get back what you put in. A lot of entitlement these days and plenty on this board.

Still waiting on my dealer to get more allocations (Canada). I should be next on the list so hopefully soon! I haven't heard of any other dealers getting allocations for months now.

Please keep posting any more info you have re. MY2023.

Yup. According to my dealer, there could be some allocations in May for July builds for the Canadian. Let's see... I was hoping to take delivery of mine before the incoming Luxury tax on 9/1 but that's definitely not going to happen given these timelines. *sigh*
