I have a lock date later this month and a delivery date, so yes, must have a commission number.

Wow this would be fantastic and aligns with how GT allocations do not necessary come every quarter like the rest of Porsche's lineup. Any more details, like how did your dealer get a heads up? And also is it just 718 GTs or GTs in general?

My initial paperwork (the sheet with all the dates and commission number on it) said my order locks on Friday. I checked in with the dealer yesterday, asking them to just double-check that the order was correct before it locks, and got back, "It's already locked." I didn't get an updated schedule but he did send me the build sheet with the options list (everything was correct BTW, not that I expected there to be a problem...) and the status at the top is "V215 - Blocked by PAG - Not changeable."

I thought? V215 only happened when it was a PTS or CXX order and Porsche wanted to review/approve the options? My car is off-the-shelf options, nothing crazy (plain old white color, bucket seats, PDLS+, black aluminum trim) so... #shrug. I imagine if V215 was something to be worried about, he would've told me.

The lock dates are generally estimated dates which can and will move up or down as Porsche's production schedule necessitates. Glad to hear everything worked out for you and your options are correct.

As far as V215, I'm not sure that the code specifically relates to PTS or CXX. I think it's just a code to indicate that Porsche is reviewing the build. I wouldn't worry about it as it's just going through the build process.

BTW, afaik V215 doesn't mean that the build is locked even though you're seeing it says "blocked by PAG - not changeable." It's my understanding that V250 is locked and not changeable so that's new to see V215 saying it's not changeable. Anybody have any insight on this?

My '21 Spyder build just got moved up another 1 1/2 weeks and started production today, which seems to indicate they want to wrap up '21 production ASAP so '22 production can start on time.

No Porsche can be tracked online via a website...your dealer has to do it, which I just stated in this thread not long ago.

Well there is this for the 911…

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en_US/t...eam-20929.html

people report varying success; but for the few that it works for appears to replicate V code status and even production pics.

most report failure.

huge thread on 992 forum.
