Looking for 718 Spyder Allocation
Hello Everyone. New member but long time lurker. I'm looking for an allocation for a 718 Spyder. I've called a few dealerships in California, but they either don't have an allocation or, Newport Beach in particular, can't order any sports cars due to the demand.
Can someone's unwanted allocation be put under my name? Should I just continue calling around? What's my best bet here?
Thanks guys.

Any idea where I can find an allocation, let alone ADM or not?

People call around dealers all over the country to look for an allocation. If you are willing to pay ADM, shouldn’t be a problem.
Or get a broker to do the leg work for you.

I was over at Porsche Austin and noticed a well-outfitted Shark Blue GT4 (and a Shark Blue Turbo S) for sale on their pre-owned floor. The GT4 has roughly 900 miles.
Although I don't know the original MSRP - I'm guessing they are listing it for $20-$25k over original MSRP coming in at $152,990. (The Turbo S is an even more astounding $311k!)
If you want one right away and are willing to pay $s for the privilege here's your chance. If interested I recommend asking for Brendan. You can tell him Gary referred you on the outside chance that helps with negotiations.

Options are listed so you can plug that into B&P. I’m guessing they are asking $35K over MSRP as market value.

I bet 35k would be on the low side. I bet it’s closer to 50k or more.

Follow the link provided, they’re asking $152,990. It has a bunch of options, just no big ones. SB, PDLS+, 18way, nav, etc…mid teens easily MSRP.

Dealerships are asking as high as they can but in reality these cars aren’t selling. It’s sad to see so many cars sitting online at stupid high mark ups. The actual sale price these days are for $15-$20k over sticker right now.

Dealers Get Allocation Notification Quarterly?
I wanted to confirm if the next date dealers would receive allocation numbers from Porsche would be May 1? With the pandemic and Ukraine, might this date get pushed back?

I actually have a confirmed order with 7/1/2022 delivery with another not super local dealer for MSRP, but did not cancel my spots elsewhere just to hedge my bets. I am on yet another (local) dealer's list with a hefty deposit for also supposedly MSRP, I'll see how that one pans out.
