I’m surprised this whole ILA strike prospect is not on the news more, as it can have a profound impact on the economy.

Don't give up hope. They have always intervened at the last minute. Also keep in mind other ports could join forces, but at least Freeport wasn't in the list as of a few days ago. They might not belong to the same union; who knows. But yes, it's a bit scary to be staring down a 2-week window with no resolution in sight.

What seemed so far away last month after the factory vacation is now getting really close. Boat should be in Florida tomorrow.

Where was your previous stop? Davisville? If so, how long did it stay at that port and how long did it take to get to Florida?

Thanks!

Awesome! I think my boat is almost at Nova Scotia (Halifax Port) and on to Baltimore soon after!
That TYD elimination of coordinate points almost sent me off the deep end!

I'm following my boat via Vessel Tracking not the TYD app. Do you follow via Vessel Tracker?

I believe Davisville was on the 16th. Maybe 1 day in port? I think its around 2 days to Jacksonville Florida.

Thanks for the info!

Man, this is cutting it close to that Oct 1 port strike! Recent report this morning said Biden won’t intervene (go figure).

I’ve been using Marine Traffic as a couple people said it’s pretty reliable. On the internet site, you can click on the route forecast and get a good location free. But, me being over the top, have paid $0.99 on the IOS app for 24hrs of access —I’ll probably do that every day or two… lol

You guys should clear the strike, but barely. Ha ha. And presidents say that to avoid interfering in normal negotiations, but typically act at the last minute, if such a devastating strike is imminent. But we'll see, since this is not a normal year. And Biden is leaving. But can't imagine him helping create a bad situation for Harris. It'll be interesting to watch. By the way, my car just jumped to step #3, so I have a VIN now (yeeeey!). Production is supposed to start until the end of the month, so it was delayed quite a bit. TYD is saying mid February, so I don't anticipate anything sooner than December.

Slow progress. Best likely case scenario, we'll be driving our new Porsches in 3-4 weeks. Slight chance a bit earlier.

I would not be surprised if I see my car wrapped at dealer in 2-4 days. I want the unwrapping filmed.

Then the dealer has the PPF done. Not sure if its done at the dealer or at the PPF place.

The Siem Cierro ship already left Florida around 9 hours ago. It is on its way to Mexico.
