Just received notification that I reached my Freeze Point. Scheduled for production Oct. 9, 2021. Cool stuff to see/hear the process of your Porsche going through the whole process.

Sometimes they go on sale with a discount code you just have to watch and wait.
Whenever I hear my car is at the dealer I will schedule a trip to go get it and probably install the grilles sitting on the ground of a parking lot before I drive the 4 hour trip home. So hopefully the Zunsports are easy to snap in with just blue painters tape protecting.

I just got the side grills. You only need a center grill on a GTS, with an additional center radiator. But yes, if you get the Zunsports, they look weird (as in worse) without the center one. And 3 times as much? No way I'd pay that; I thought they were double. The RGSs look better (basically OEM looking, vs tacked on), protect the same, and are equal or actually simpler to install, so I don't see any reason to get the others anymore. I did because they were the only ones available back then (and I had a GTS, with all 3 grilles), and guess folks think they're the best (good for them), but that's not the case anymore. But just get one or the other. Ha ha.

I’m at port so I guess I am at day -7 or less for my Zunsport grilles. For the 718 BGTS and the CGTS, I liked the way the Zunsports looked and fit so that is why I chose them.

Man, that'd SUCK big time. Ha ha. But it happened a few years ago, and with a lot of exotics inside (several Porsche GT cars too). Hey, I have a related question, out of curiosity: Are cars on ships even secured with straps or something? Or just parked? I assume ships have rails, or at least something to prevent them from going sideways, no? It'd take forever to individually secure/unsecure each car, so curious how it's done. Thanks.

I would think they would streamline this some how by offloading simple items like cars where they can dock and any non-union personnel can just drive them off. Just hope they don't screw up my transmission (manual)!
