blew a CV shaft (inner joint) Monday night while being stupid= waiting on a pair of axles...the inner joint is replaceable by itself, at $400 CAN, but a month to get from Germany or air freight $ and still 5 days
pair of 11k km used axles coming from Calgary= $500 +shipping.

Yes, she is not new to Porsche. Her 2 previous cars are also Porsche. The last one is a manual 2010 C2S. She didn't know how to spec it right. So she give me the full authority to spec the car for her. I forgot to add CF interior. By the time I requested it, the car was already in production and was too late.

But when I go back, I will gladly ask her to hand over the keys. I know she doesn't mind

On my way home from the shop. Fresh oil and also an annual check. Shop owner who also races Porsche mentioned that he was jealous and said I'm lucky finding a brand new looking 996 Turbo like this one. He also told me to stay away from modifications, didn't expect that but felt good.

Berra, Have heard 'keep it stock' from multiple mechanics.
Got humbled by one of these on the way home...granted I was already in 5th but he freaking walked away from me at speed. Pretty impressive.

Actually not 100% sure about which model it was, but it was large, and was a sedan and hauled.
This weekend rolled over 55k, and changed the oil, second time around is much smoother. That's 5k miles since mid April!

Admired my old Minerva Blue beauty that made speed hunters. God I miss that car. Glad it went to such a good home.
