One of the above has a hose/line already attached to it, the other does not.

The metal oil lines were checked to make sure they were not seized up. May go for a turbo upgrade next year, and did not want any surprises just in case.

In fact my lines were seized and I had to replace them. The other parts added to my next shopping list ;-) Thanks a lot !

I Installed a new 997 short shifter best MOD so far I wish I would've done this six years ago it's amazing how much of a difference it is over the stock set up and how precise the shifter is. Install took less then 2 hours but if I had to do it again I could do in 45 min or less.

May I ask: did you use a factory part, B&M or other?

that ruf wheel is the same as the raid/atwie 340mm that i got in blk/alum ( that one is just ruf badged ) and along with the 997ssk is infinitely better than stock. the stock wheel is about as cumbersome as the oem shifter lol.

agree with anyone that living with the stock shifter is crazy. but would add the steering wheel into that assessment

How do you match the metropol blue interior when going with an aftermarket steering wheel?

many metro blue interiors will have the alum accent pieces ( x71? ) so the alum/leather raid wheel matches well. though not dyed blue leather, a bit of black can't hurt?

If anyone knows of a place that is selling a nice thick steering wheel which uses the airbag cover from the old one and/or perhaps can match metropol blue on the steering wheel, please let me know. I can take mine off and send it...no rush on return...2-3 weeks is fine.

Thanks.
