Got to sit in an R yesterday. Started it up and revved it respectfully.
The biggest thing I noticed was how amazing the shifter felt. It felt precise and mechanical just like a rifle loading mechanism with nice short throws. The rattle of the LWFW is subtle but there when the clutch is out in neutral. Lovely package.
I know it's not technically a 'driving' observation but up here in the great white north driving isn't a reality for a few more months.

I bet you guys have omelets made of bald eagle eggs, too. For now, I will live vicariously though you 911r owners. For now...

Beautiful car Bartron! Bold choice!
I am in the frozen north and not driving my 911R anymore until spring - so it is nice to see everyone's photos and comments while I wait for the snow to go away.
Suffering from car withdrawal one day, I snuck into the garage and took a few of my own photos with my phone:

Some things never change...I remember looking at the clock as a kid and getting a little thrill every time I saw 9:11, 9:28, 9:44 etc. Given that, I had to set the clock appropriately for the photo.

Does anybody know why I'm getting an 'error occurred' when trying to view a posted video, like the above? Didn't happen before. And if I go to YouTube, I can view anything I want. Can't figure out why. Thanks.

iPhone Rennlist app sucks. This is one of the bugs. If you click to open the post it may show you the video. If it doesn't then it won't work. Use website version or Garage Talk app and you won't have this problem.

Good to know, but this is from my laptop. Used to be able to see posted videos, but not anymore. Rather than seeing something on the screen, the screen is black, and when I click on the red play arrow, the error message appears. Haven't installed anything new, so I'm stumped. But thanks for your help anyway. Have a great weekend.
