EZ Pass "Sticker"
Does anyone use the EZ Pass "Sticker"? If so, where did you mount it? (I know the recommendation is by the rear view mirror)
Has anyone stuck it on the bottom corner, pass side? I have a vehicle registration sticker down there and wouldn't mind sticking the sticker there. I just want to make sure it gets read, the sticker is not removable. Yes, I might try to temp tape it until I know but that will take a couple weeks for be to test.
FYI, I never mounted an EZ pass (plastic box) on the windshield, didn't like the look of it.

the reason center placement is more ideal is because of the way the physical readers work. you will observe a reader array over each lane. all of them may pick up your sticker, but at different strengths. if your sticker is on one side depending on the circumstances you may be billed when you should not be. of course in others you may not be billed when you should. you can place it anywhere. the recommendations they provide are more for the system to work at it’s best than for your benefit. if you are miss billed they will probably credit you but this takes time for u to deal w them. if u have the thicker sound insulated windshield etc w the heated glass there is a metal coating that can prevent reads. on those windshields us the designated toll device location specified in your manual.

I have a NC Quick Pass sticker mounted in the upper left hand corner of the windshield. It works seamlessly. Also works in most EzPass states.

Some on this forum report the toll tag works when placed in the factory approved location. It might depend on the type transponder.
In wife’s Cayenne without thermal glass, she can place the Virginia EZ-Pass anywhere on the windshield and it works just fine.
The heated windshield not only affects the toll transponders, but radar detectors as well.

Yeah, that doens't work. Too many V-Tolls and they charge you full price.
Thank, I temporarily taped it to the bottom (passenger side) corner, we'll see if it reads.
2019 Turbo, don't have either of those options.
You didn’t say if you have thermal glass or heated windshield. If so, your options are limited. In my thermal glass equipped Cayenne, my Virginia EZ-Pass wouldn’t work even in the factory approved location next to the mirror. I have to mount it on the sunroof.
