Maybe....I'll check the car title tomorrow

Did a couple of hours of work in it. Engine is sealed up and filled with 8L or G12. Will have to top it off with deionized water in the morning. Ran it a few times since last weekend and runns better and better everytime. It was on for a few minutes tonight, while filling it with coolant and power steering fluid.

If all goes well tomorrow, it will come off the trailer and then time for a test drive.

Spent the morning hooking everything up, bled the clutch and then,Rod, my brother and my neighbor came over to help get the car off the trailer. Test drive went pretty well except after the second lap around the block, cylinder 3 developed a misfire. The coolant overflow tank hose was dripping right on it. Will pull the coil tomorrow, swap it with another cylinder and see if that pinpoints the cylinder, spark plug or maybe an injector. Feels like a coil as it kicks in sometimes. I was expecting something like this to show up. Mechanically all is well, so I'm very happy with that. When all warmed up, the exhaust smells good so when the misfire is fixed, it might be fine for the e-test.

I like the way it looks without the bumper, reminds me of the CUP cars that loose a bumper on the track.

That car is in a class of its own. The floor mats are real sheep skin. 6.75L, V8, the turbo is the size of a 4 year old kid's head.

Swapped the coils out to narrow down the misfire. Looks like itndried out over night cause now it fires on all 6. I'll replace all 6 over the winter.

Little OP but, man these cars are tiny on the inside.

Whoo hoo.....It PASSED the e-test!

Put the bumper back on, reset the codes and drove it to Economy Lube. The dyno was empty so they drove it on without shutting it down and started the test. 15 min later it was done and passed with a fair bit of margin. I can almost taste that steak dinner!

Then on the way out of the parking lot the check engine came on again. It has a P1539 (cam actuator bank 2) that was there when I got the car. Over the winter I'll replace the actuator but for now, it was good enough to pass. It will go in for safety (not worried about that too much) in the next couple of days.

First pic is for Clive. My trunk shock is marginal so if anything, I did this just out of respect for Clive. Second is on they rollers and the last is self explanatory.
