Ian seemed to be doing pretty well, just outside podium finishes. I thought $59 was a bit steep for the day, but that's mostly my fault for not getting there until 12pm.
Pel, saw you and the GT3 just as you were leaving. Shame you weren't a minute later as I needed a jump-start! No problem finding a kind soul to lend me some electricity though.
Paul was it a 308 GTS you were after? There was one there with a for sale sign on it, maybe you've already seen it around.

Close Graeme Close. I know a couple of guys running them in the US this season. cJs car debuted Daytona 24 hrs and got a podium for class. It needed a bit of work though to get it set up, out of the box it wasn't quite right, manthey racing have now developed a suspension tube for different tracks. It's a good car for GT4class and would run competitively against 997 cup. Probably a bit quicker the the right set up and driver. I quizzed tony at CCS what the impetuous was for the 4-6 units coming to NZ and he said END were working with him and Giltraps on a class or series with them. He's been trying to do same for Ferrari challenge. The money is obviously there in NZ for s few takers but I suspect like Quinn they have mis judged how grass roots racing is here. The Sanyyong cup is probably likely to be more successful! I could write a page on it but I think you can get the gist and read between the lines. Cars coming I but a definitive series still in announced etc....

Those GT4 Clubsports are very cool looking cars, pretty expensive though which is a shame. I'm quite surprised about the number they have brought in though, will be good to see them out doing their thing. If only they were about 1/4 that price, here's hoping for some heavy depreciation
As to the above apparently they are working on the possibility of that. It would certainly be a great bonus to be Targa eligible etc and I see of no strong reason why they aren't. They still have working lights etc I believe.
How did the 101 go for the people who went, were there many people there? I think the ticket price was a bit steep.

Technically I'm sure there is a way to do convert to road legal. The thing is no COC so will need to go completely via LVVC unless there is a work around. I'd budget 20k. Will need passenger seat too and road tyres for compliance...
