No - must have been another one - was in Neil's SS2000 race.

Haven't heard re Marco but will ask and let you know.

No, I have too much 'stuff'. Apart from accumulating tools and 964 parts I'm actively getting rid of things.

Cool. I just checked and it looks like the first books shipped out last week. Mine is going via Youshop due to the ridiculous $65 USD they otherwise wanted to send it direct to NZ. I dont think Ill see it until early Jan.

I cant help a good book. I have a bit of a collection!

Talking abut that. Having a big sale when Im back. Probably just put the stuff direct on Ebay this time I think. It will be some of the more collectible/rare stuff to make space. I wont bother wasting space here on it right now but Ill post the links when the stuff goes. The only thing Ill look to sell locally is a brand new (unused) 1998 Porsche FS MTB if I can get the right level of interest in it...

I had a great day out on Saturday, even got a little bit too much sun on face it seems despite the clouds! It was really good to meet a few you in the flesh. Definitely think I was probably one of the slowest RS's around Hamptons ever but learnt a great deal about the car. Unfortunately it's hard to shake the feeling that despite having insurance cover having a decent off would still be a great way to lose a lot of money! Spent the rest of the weekend trawling Trademe for a track car that is a little more expendable.

Good to see you easing into it. Money's not the only thing at stake on track and being sensible goes a long way to getting you home again.

At least you were brave enough to get it out there Stuart! Good work. Seeing an RS at an RSG track day us as rare as seeing a yeti these days. Ironic...

The red 964C2 Steve has would be a good one to cut your teeth in, no GT3RS but it looked pretty fit for purpose, will hold value, plenty of other 964s to run with....

Steve is quite taken with his new C2. I can't see him selling it just yet.

(we all know Steve doesn't like selling cars........)

Stuart - with your budget, go buy an early 996 GT3, they have a collector value too, so will fit nicely in your stable.

Besides, you can drive it at 7/10th's and still smoke most of the GT3 guys out there.
