There's been an article about that car before. Maybe on Performance Car. The owner might even be on here??

Yip. Spun on both those occasions you mention on R comps. 4WD will make a considerable difference from what I have witnessed on anything from damp to wet to wet wet tracks. I've only driven 993 & GT3 on track and with R comps so have no first hand experience here but I think the lap times and Johns grin on a wet track day tell me all I need to know :-)

P.S. The mPSC2 don't seem to be a R comp like the Z221 (the best tyre ever for track IMO). Tread wear 160 probably is a clue and the road tyre like tread blocks. I'd say they would be a second or more slower than the Mich however as a do everything tyre there isn't anything better I know of. It will be great when hankook, Toyo, Dunlop etc start making a track style R comp in 20" for newer 911, GT3 & GT4 owners...

Chris great work looking good!! Won't stop the collection of bee and fly half bodies that collect (I have half a cup of these in the corner of each radiator) but it will stop most on the leaf litter and radiator damage...

That guy always has an interesting pricing strategy. Remember the Gemballa 964 ... Actually did that sell? Once it was cleaned up with decent photos it was a cool looking car.

Chris, nice work. Having now half pulled off my bumper on the weekend I'm feeling inspired to do the same. What material did you use in the end?

The 996T's intakes are deep too and equally keen to ingest the world. With 6 radiators up front and 2 intercoolers out back to maintain, I ended up making a vacuum cleaner attachment from some flexible aquarium piping so I could fish it out through the front with the nose in place. Sucks strong enough to drag dead sparrows out without damaging the car. Your way is a lot more thorough though, I must say. If I ever consider a concourse d'elegance I'll want you for my team. But if you're competing too I might as well stay home!

I've previously posted a very similar Ron run route there including all the turn offs. It takes about 1 hour to manually break it down turn by turn from the map unfortunately.

I had a good number of runs in my Motion-X app when my phone was stolen and my laptop (complete with iPhone backups) stolen with it. So, I've had to start again. The app is quite nice because it not only records the track but you can save it then reload it and have it follow the previous track. I've yet to try that feature out to see what it's like but I'm hoping. You can also share tracks amongst other Motion-X users.

Meh it's nothing special, just another dirty old 964
I am pretty stoked with the lips though and how the wheels will look, best start looking for some tyres too.
Any suggestions anyone?

Good grief, there's no hiding. I can't have done more than a few clicks in town and I've been sprung already. That said with most other cars seemingly commodore V8s and Hiluxes I stick out like the proverbials.
