Macca, R-comps stay faster than streets until it's wet enough to have some standing water. Once it gets crazy wet, where the surface of the track looks like a lake, then streets will be considerable faster - eg for that one downpour on Turn 10 later in the day that had them waving yellow, or Taupo on last year's North Island Track tour.
P.S. The mPSC2 don't seem to be a R comp like the Z221 (the best tyre ever for track IMO). Tread wear 160 probably is a clue and the road tyre like tread blocks. I'd say they would be a second or more slower than the Mich however as a do everything tyre there isn't anything better I know of. It will be great when hankook, Toyo, Dunlop etc start making a track style R comp in 20" for newer 911, GT3 & GT4 owners...

Chris great work looking good!! Won't stop the collection of bee and fly half bodies that collect (I have half a cup of these in the corner of each radiator) but it will stop most on the leaf litter and radiator damage...

The 996T's intakes are deep too and equally keen to ingest the world. With 6 radiators up front and 2 intercoolers out back to maintain, I ended up making a vacuum cleaner attachment from some flexible aquarium piping so I could fish it out through the front with the nose in place. Sucks strong enough to drag dead sparrows out without damaging the car. Your way is a lot more thorough though, I must say. If I ever consider a concourse d'elegance I'll want you for my team. But if you're competing too I might as well stay home!

I had a good number of runs in my Motion-X app when my phone was stolen and my laptop (complete with iPhone backups) stolen with it. So, I've had to start again. The app is quite nice because it not only records the track but you can save it then reload it and have it follow the previous track. I've yet to try that feature out to see what it's like but I'm hoping. You can also share tracks amongst other Motion-X users.

Good grief, there's no hiding. I can't have done more than a few clicks in town and I've been sprung already. That said with most other cars seemingly commodore V8s and Hiluxes I stick out like the proverbials.
