Also Adam Young now upgraded to white 997.1 gt3 and the silver car now changed to the black 997.1 RS seen at Taupo last time I was there with RSG

Interesting GT3RS available through Spires. Pricing out of my reach, but is great to see one in blue. http://www.spirescars.co.nz/vehicle/...1-GT3/1086?s=1

Thanks Jake for posting that. Beautiful piece of kit. I'd love one too but unless it's been modded by more than just weight reduction they may be overclaiming on one performance front. If it's stock, the most that magazine tests look to have gotten out of these at the top end is 316 kph - and press cars for instrumented testing tend to be healthy examples. 310 is the official Porsche figure and Sport Auto's one topped out at 312. I wonder if they'd take it back no questions asked if it didn't hit 320?

Not that it matters of course as we're a bit short of autobahns here and they are not its natural habitat anyway.

Looks lovely in blue. It somehow manages to be auto and manual at the same time too. Be interesting to see if it sells at that price in CHCH.

Good old ChCh international pricing strategy in action again - Would be interesting to know what an RS is worth these days. It would have to be at least $300K, so maybe not that far overpriced??

The car is in singapore guys (hasnt been exported) and has been priced for UK market as its marketed there. The SGD is strong against NZD and the dealer wants to make 50K margin so I doubt it will sell in NZ?

Having just visited that page I reckon you're being kind. Though a car with Porsche mechanicals and full Ferrari interior might have some takers.

Till the rubber textured switches go sticky and the indicator stork Guido fitting Monday morning after his wife caught him having Gellatto with his girlfriend falls off....:-)

Hey John McM, what was in the squeeze bottle when you put the banner on Mr Black for me? Was it dishwashing liquid? Is this just to allow you to move the banner about a bit before you commit to the positioning?

A small amount of dishwashing liquid. Make sure you wet the screen and the trim above it (anywhere the banner can stick). You will have heaps of time to position it with that on.

looks like they have just copied the sgcarmart ad.

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/i...530269&DL=2365

Roughly how it looks:

Prices in SGD

Purchase $468,800.00

ARF Value $306,036.80

car between 5 & 6 years old, 70% rebate = $214,225.76

A portion of the $39,911 COE will also be refundable.

Say $254,574.24 on the dock before shipping and insurance

Convert to NZD $267,000.00

GST on arrival $40,050.00

Total NZD $307,050.00 not incl shipping and insurance, the COE rebate must be the margin, which doesn't look like much.
