Wow!! I see what you mean about those flat jelly bean colors. Might have to have a rethink.

Sorry about these multiple posts. Doing this on my phone while waiting for my brake fluid change before SITT. Guess I should relearn how to do this myself. Used to on the Escort 30yrs ago. Or would this void the warranty?

Trash talking the 964 RS having never driven one. Where do they get these muppets?

Yip. We've said it before and now again. At least they don't print this rubbish in their magazine (I hope?).

Jelly bean colours are a "must have" on any GT car IMO. Solidno metallics. Easier to repair and cut marks out of too. Heres a Viper green one.

Yes Glenn, it looks like there's a convoy leaving from BP Drury at 5:20 am but I think they are driving their cars.

I will leave an hour earlier as I can't do more that 90km/ hr while towing. I plan to be at all four practices.

Walter is the other RSG entrant. He's overnighting in Hamilton. I think be will be there mid morning.

^^^ in a million years you'll never guess my middle name. Starts with L, non-biblical and is my mum's maiden name.

I'm off to Pirongia in the morning with another set of Macca's castoffs, 17" cup2s that belong to Lola. Lola is 98% ready waiting for road wheels, number plates, a polish, clean and shakedown over the next week. I didn't plan far ahead enough and she was delivered to the workshop with different track wheels on the rear 17" from the front 16".

Photos tomorrow night.

Hi all, any members in the Wanaka / Queenstown Lakes region?
Finally got our first Pcar after 20 or so years of saying we'll get one soon! As always plenty of other stuff getting in the way, property, travel etc and in more recent years the race car, but finally sorted!
Keen to catch up for a weekend cruise if anyone is local or travelling through.
Cheers

Wow. That's earlier than I expected but well worth it to make all the practices. Having trailer issues right now. Might have to drive too.

Still getting used to this trailer business. The Cayenne is a consummate tow vehicle but has the wrong fitting for Kiwi Trailers.

A trip to Megatyre at Browns Bay netted me a nice connector cable. However apparently LED lights need a further piece of kit. Luckily Neil's trailer has normal light bulbs. That said any trailer is so large, it needs an appropriate parking space, which is not up my extreme drive. I managed to get it up and down but won't be doing that again.

The advantage is that I don't have to worry about racing and road tripping the same car. I also have huge space to put things in.
