And even the 993 made it this time!
Thanks for a great day. Does it get any better than driving your Porsche in a Porsche convoy on NZ country roads during an Auckland summer?
Superb!

Glad you finally got to join us, met some of the "enthusiasts" and enjoyed the day.

Thats pretty much a typical run..........meet and chat/laugh.........drive........stop at a Cafe.......chat/laugh........eat.......chat/laugh.........it's a pretty tough existance!

See you on the next one.

Nice line up Nick. You've still got the 'problem' of that low nosed red imposter!

We've got a run this Sunday down here so hopefully I'll be able to do an update by early next week.

Unfortunately the poor man was "forced" to drive the funny looking car because his wife drove the 964. He did pay for his misdemeaner indirectly.............a nice man dressed in blue gave him a fine!

Default Beautiful day out.......

A nice little jaunt to Piha today. Unfortunately one car broke down and didn't quite get there. Good company and plenty of laughs is the norm for us (except for one!).
Sorry about sh**ty first photo...........i think i may need a new camera.

Default New addition to the family.....

Purchased this lovely Targa last week.
Went for a drive today to check out the route and Cafe for the next Porsche run in June. My son "volunteered" to help check the route............can't think why.......

i cant believe in all the years i've been on here and pelican i never looked at the regional forums.

i come from a porsche family and am an on again, off again PCNZ member. my stepdad used race in bridgstone and won his class in an '86 944 in the early 2000's. he then raced a '78 SC for 3-4 yrs but not in Bridgestone.

my best mate and I have owned watercooled porsches for the last 11-12 yrs. I had a '78 924, an '80 924 turbo and now have a low-km '86 944. hes had a few 944's, a '75 911S, 928 5 spd and now an '86 944 turbo.

i've been on a few drives with PCNZ, my last was a few years ago in the passenger seat of my friends 911S in the waikato. One of my photos from that drive made the spiel cover, it was of a cream 356 cross a bridge with cream painted concrete arches. the shot was from behind.

i do one or 2 track days a year with friends from another forum.

nirich, you and your follow cruisers didn't happen to be on the northcoate interchange this particular Sunday morning or another Sunday around then? I was coming home in a van from dragonboat training at lake pupuke in Takapuna and snapped this shot! (the date on my pic says 21-feb)

Hi there,
I think I saw you racing at Hampton downs on Saturday. i was part of the WRC start crew for the hampton Downs stages. I meant to come chat but didnt have the time. I took some photos of you and your car while in pitlane and you gave me a friendly nod.

this is me on the left sporting a mohawk for the occasion;

Hi Jinxed...............yeah you busted us! That was a couple of runs ago. We went to McNut Cafe out west beyond Parakai.

I actually have that copy of Spiel (Sept-Dec 2007, Issue 144) with the little 356 although i am no longer a PCNZ member.

If you're interested in joining us next time let me know and check out the website in my signature.
