Welcome to the club!

Many prefer the Carrera II's above, but I have 2 sets of hollow turbo twists if you are interested.

FWIW, the minimum wheel weight in the spec is based on the MY02 lightweight 5 spoke rims. They are also the correct offsets to give the approved track width on the car.

Well, at the last minute I found a spec 996 out of California, which most of the members here know. For those who do not here is an article on it from several years ago. http://www.renntrack.com/forums/show...-Racer-Article.
It is now on JRZ's and the seller was outstanding. I Had been looking for over 6 months going through different scenarios, but finally found a seller who knew what he had and was willing to part with it at a reasonable price..
Now new dilemma, enclosed or stay with open? diesel or gas? Single or dually? When will this madness end?

Great news. Welcome to the class. What are your plans for racing?

The madness does not end, it just grows.

What are the preferred wheels for spec? Might still run H but will use spec suspension... All thoughts appreciated.

I can't wait to see pictures of the car when you repaint it.

I have to say, I was a bit sad when the transporter picked it up last week, but it sounds like she found a good home.

question for the spec guys: with the Getty design wing, top scoop or no? pros/cons?

car is a 3.4 if that matters.
