Brian, there's always H if you are lonely! There are now 11 cars signed up, and you guys would make it 14.

That would just suck for you... Some guy from Texas that has never been to Road Atlanta and never ran in H shows up and bets you...
How would you live with yourself after that?

I've raced with Bryan...and have no doubt whatsoever about his capabilities.

Kai, yes I know he's good, we chased each other around Sebring for a couple of days.

Check the result sheets though before you put your money down!

Nah, I know what he can do.

Seems the lap times are a bit slower than possible for most of the TX boys...probably that bad Florida fuel, funky tires or Texas sized hangovers.

I hear ya, and I always like a challenge so we'll have to start a different RA smack talk thread after the Roebling race.

Yea, My poor car was off it's game this year at Sebring... Transmission problems all weekend... Friday I only did 4 laps, trans ended up locked in 2 gear. I pulled the trans out track side, Topp Racing fixed it, and we put it back in. It worked... just did not shift completely right, no 2nd gear and stiff and hard to get into any other. Best lap I did was in the 2:24's. Not fun but better than wishing I was driving. Still this a 2:21 / 22 can be done in the car.
The damage this year was huge. Never have seen so much. 6 cars in our small Texas pit, only two (including mine) did not have a hit of some kind. Lots of rubbing going on.
Paul N. hit a wall in 16, Chuck hit a wall in 17, Larry M. hit a car in 10 and got a 13, Richard A. did a wheel to door rub that the corner workers did not see. Only Darren an I were clean'ish..
For the enduro I started 6th out of 80 plus cars. Moved up to 2nd place and was thinking I was going for the over all win. Then thinking for sure we would have a double yellow or two I would not need gas in the pit stop. I was wrong... 5 min. left it ran out on me in corner 7.... Live and learn. Watched Mike drive right by while sitting in 7...

But past all that we had a blast, good times with good guys.

Even if your car was off it's game it was impressive watching you pull the GTB1's down the straight.

After much looking and putting offers on different cars it looks like I am going to use a 38k mile 2001 virgin.

What are the preferred wheels for spec? Might still run H but will use spec suspension... All thoughts appreciated.
