Might want to check with John @ Apartabove as he probably has a tank he can sell you for a very reasonable price. We bought one for our Lemons car and it was perfect. He can be reached at apartabove@aol.com and is excellent to deal with.

So after much thought about this fuel tank issue we are now looking into an economical way to install a fuel cell.

Go with a cell, Gary. It's worth the piece of mind, since you're replacing anyway.

We have already decided to go with a cell. Now it's just a case of figuring out which is the best route to take as far as where to install it.
BTW, the weather down here at NJMP is beautiful

Shocks are completely rebuild/updated/revalved and waiting to be reinstalled.
The engine bay was being sprayed today so parts should start going back on the car real soon. I will post more pic's as the progress continues

Looking good! What do people do with the hatch glass/lexan when the wing is mounted to the body of the car like that?

The hatch is lexan and will be fastened down with same fasteners as are being used on the fiber glass hood. This way I can unfasten the hatch and remove it "fairly" easily . The corners of the hatch will most likely be cut out where the wing legs are and then permenantly attached.
Once done I will post some picture's that will show it better than I'm explaining it LOL!

I'm going to VIR but maybe not in the turbo . I was at NJMP with Todd last Saturday and was very happy when he said that were re-signed up for Chin .
There events are always a blast! It's too bad Ed or Scott are not going.

Default new mirrors and injectors arrived

The mirrors are APR carbon fiber F1 mirrors, light and aerodynamic.
The 1000cc fuel injectors and blue print (2 sets on the chart)

Next the car is going to the body shop to have interior and engine bay sprayed.
Next week will see some big progress as the suspension etc starts to go back in

I think you right Steve, it's turning into Sloan's showcase car. I've been teasing him about it lol!
He is definitely doing a real nice job
