Gary, I meant Kojote, sorry.....

That Firehawk was acquired by a customer of Will's at PMR over the winter. Nice example of a relatively all original 944 S2 Firehawk, not too many left.

Plus 1 on the PS, I had manual for a few years and added PS, huge improvement.

That looks like a nice Firehawk, at 1st I thought it was Will's Firehawk.

#51 now lives in NJ after moving north from Miami. The car and I are still getting to know each other, even though I have owned an S2 for 14 yrs. I'm behind schedule and way over budget, not the first time for sure. It will be at NJMP for NNJR's advanced in May, for another shakedown. Wish me luck. Don't want to hijack this thread. Good luck with your build Gary, can't wait to see it and if you didn't beat me to Jim's 968, it be mine!!

Looking forward to meeting you at NJMP in 3 weeks.
The 968 may be up for sale soon, depends how I feel about racing the new car .
It's may be a while before I race it, it's just too nice but running 2 cars is unfortunately way more than I can afford

This car is pretty amazing. I can't believe everything you have done. I was going to buy one of those APR wings and couldn't figure out how to properly mount it but obviously you have. It is interesting to me that you still have a stock intake manifold - is this for rules compliance or is it because the stock manifold is optimized as I have suspected but never actually asked?

Also, a little late but I have been reading through the whole thread after seeing it this afternoon - how much does the undercoating weigh approximately?

Thx this project has certainly gone to a higher than normal level.
The car is going to race in GTS3 so no real rule restrictions except power to weight ratio and I must use a Porsche engine with a Porsche chassis.
The stock intake is probably for several reasons, main one is no doubt the budget! Sloan would know more about the other reasons for using it. He also would be able to give a more acurate answer on the weight of the undercoating.
I suspect he wont have anyspare time over the next few days to chime in as he is working round the clock to get the car ready for it's 1st test day on Friday.
