It comes off in less than a minute. I keep my splitter 2.5 inches off the ground which requires removal even with my long ramps.

It fits the front end that you see in my avatar?

That's an increasingly common question. Yes, that appears to be a Broadfoot style fascia which traditionaly is a little lower than stock. The height is adjustable and the mounts to the fascia are just to keep the front end up. Force if encountered comes from the bottom up or straight back which directs the impact to the mounts. The key item is that the splitte board is primarily supported by the brackets which mount using the factory tie down bolts.

So it replaces that little splitter that I already have on (red), or it goes under and in addtion to that one?

Remove the orange piece and go as low as you dare. I am running at 3" and could probably drop another 1/2 inch. The splitter is actually doing the work as it was intended. You can then add downforce in the rear and you will start to see a real improvements in lap times.

Would this splitter set-up work on a 968? Or are the fascia's too different to be able to work?

Yes to the 968, same factory tie downs are removed to attach the bracket sets (using the same bolts). It's just a matter of extending the fascia just like the 951. I actually tie in to the factory batwing mounts which are the same on the 968. I do not recommend or supply the dzus fasteners, they are just not necessary. These photos are from my instructions.

The splitter board comes off in less than a minute, 6 quick disconnects are included. I have also set up the fascia to remove within 3-5 minutes.

I have one of disastermans kits unfortunately my car has become a fixture at the shop where is getting motec'd. I am hoping to get it back this weekend and do the installation. As stated it comes with instructions and is straight forward.

With the new ramps that were just installed on my trailer I doubt I will need to remove the splitter. My 968 splitter now clears with 1 inch to spare
