Possible Glen 2009 Race Format

I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the enduro. However, refueling is an issue for those not attending with an entourage. Although I have been fortunate enough to receive assistance from fellow PCA members I would prefer to not have to rely on the kindness of others when there is usually so much to do during a CR weekend. I would like to see the enduros cut down to 75 minutes, while retaining the 5 minute pit stop. This would negate the need to refuel for most, at least in the stock classes, while not altering the enduro appreciably.
968's don't need to refuel for a 90 min enduro.

It's close but, in my limited experience, I would tend to agree. At my rookie race ('08 Mid-Ohio) I spent some time discussing the issue with the leading 968 in the field (2nd in class) and note that he chose to refuel.

I don't know who said anything about a mandatory driver change. There is a mandatory 5 minute pit stop - as far as I know.
I like driving the entire endoro myself. If other people want to split it, then that's fine for them. But I do not want a mandatory driver change. That raises a whole host of car splitting issues - a headache that I don't want to have to address. Also ,requiring a driver change would effectively cut the field of the enduro in half.
The reason I advocated a two hour enduro was precisely because that is a reasonable limit for one driver "to endure."
