    Hello Geoffrey,
I see you know a lot about fuel injection in genreal, and would like hear your oppinion on using the TEC gt200 ECU for a Porsche engine, where i want to replace the original CIS system with EFI.

My engine is a stock 3.0 SC engine, where i intend to use a 3.2 intake with batch fired injectors (3x2 injectors) - so no cam sensor or sequential setup.
On the ignition side, i intend to run with distributer to keep the origianl look ( hate coil packs ) and use the 964 ignition coil + the Bosch 0227 100 124 module.
Do you know if the TEC gt200 is capable to run this setup ? .. I believe it's possible with the injector setup, but not sure about the ignition setup.
The only thing i can read in the manual about older setup, is on page 32 : " The TECgt200 has the ability to operate either the older style standard ignition coils or more recent Driver on Coil (DOC)coils."

    Geoffrey -
Know you understand engines a lot better than I -
I am working to resolve two issues that that related I am sure -
I have adjusted the ECU/ VE and Time tables and have it all dialed in for best HP and torque. My issue is around idle -At idle, if I add gas rapidly the engine bulks / stutters then catches and accelerates. Then when you lift off throttle then engine goes below idle speed ( 1000 RPM ) drops to around 600 and occasionally dies.
I have an light weight flywheel, understand this - but don't see howthis affects the above.
I have tried to resolve working the PID settings with no affect - believe the stutter on accel is in the fuel setting enrichment but have not been able to solve - have improved a little
The issue after a throttle blip is of major concern as this impacts driving significantly. Stalls at traffic lights etc.
Just wondering if you have any ideas on corrective adjustments that I could try that might be something I am overlooking.

    Geoffrey,
Im installing a 6pole kill switch in a 993 but im having a hard time finding the pin 86 wire under the fuse box. Can you please let me know which plug and which wire is the DEM relay pin86. Or if you could educate me in how to find pin locations under the fuse box that would be even better. Mark 512 593 0182.

    Hi
i remember seeing a post some time ago , about your build of a 964 chassis. Of particular interest is the reinforcements you made. The only factory items i could find were the rear sway bar mounts on the RS and the front underside of the strut towers on the 993 RS (same as 964). We are building a street monster C2 with a 500+ hp 993 tt engine for a client, and looking for ideas on reinforcements. Can you direct me to your link on rennlist of the chassis build? I did a search and could not find it

    thanks for your time

    Hi Geoffrey

I'm doing an electric ps conversion on my 964 c2. Just struggling to find info on how you've done it in the past. I've got the early merc pump. Just need a wiring diagram and a bit of know how to do it. Would really appreciate any links or info on doing it.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Where in Kingston are you? I used to own 19 West Chestnut St., and grew up in Kingston. I frequently visit.
I now live in Riverdale, NY and currently have a 2008 Carrera S Cab.

If I am ever in trouble when up there, could I contact you?

I am a PCA member, NY region.

Geoffery, we are close to finishing my engine/car build and need a Fuel Pressure Regulator. We need to be able to support 1.6bar boost so were looking at Rising Rate FPR's. I just wondered if you had any experience of Rising Rate FPR's and if you had any opinion on FPR in general?
