In today’s Sprint Race the battle between Alonso&Sainz and the one between Sainz&Leclerc have been quite entertaining.
Sainz is clearly proving his skills and temper, good for him and for F1

Why not have sprint weekends moving forward for 2025 and beyond? People don't care about practice, but qualifying, then sprint, then race qualifying..... if what people want to see - something that matters on track rather than practice, which is good for sponsors and advertisers.
A lot of thoughts so far: The greatest of all time hadn't led a race in 3 years and when he finally had a lead, he **** his pants on the first lap when he sees Max in his mirrors with a lock up and run wide. Then he exits in Q1 with again, an unforced error..... he's done
Great battle between ALO, SAI, PER, LEC, NOR in the sprint race with SAI pushing LEC off track and not even trying to get to the apex.
Alonso is just a beast, he's just so amazing in a car that shouldn't be that far up... I really hope AM gets it right with Honda for the 2026 season where they can really challenge legitimately for the title.
Not a great qualifying for Ferrari, but they're good on tires so they "should" move up during the race.

Stroll is a POS. Dude needs to be replaced. RB just too dominant. Crazy how Ferrari can be that different from one weekend to the next.

I'm not sure what they can do about Stroll. Besides VER, he may be the safest driver on grid when it comes to his job... it's painful to watch week after week.

My God, Fernando is an animal. That save in the last corner through the gravel was unbelievable. Actually, an interesting race after first. Sure enjoyed the grid walk with Nico compared to Brundle.

Dunno how Max wasn't driver of the day, other than he makes the race for first boring. Otherwise, some pretty entertaining battles going on.
Even for last.
That was some fine driving by Lando tho, and a most impressive save from Alonso!
The track in China is growing on me. Looks challenging to drive.
Ricci not too impressive, even before the Stroll-inflicted damage.
Stroll 10 seconds for crashing into him. Ricci crashed into Piastri first, no penalty...
If Perez can't keep it one-two with Max, he won't be back next year.
But then I was surprised he was back this year!

Perez: If you can’t easily be second to Max at every race in the most dominant car F1 has seen in years, you need to loose your job. Replace him with a young gun who could at least finish within 5 seconds and makes Max work for it. Plus you’re building potentially a future leader of the team if Max decides to quit F1 earlier than most cause frankly, he acts bored most of the time;
Stroll: just useless; completely useless. Thinks he’s far better than he is which is below average at best. Alonso showing him up every race is just brilliant. The majority owners of AM need to tell Daddy to get a real driver and stop wasting money/time on his son;
Magnusson: time to cut him loose. Scoring zero points and highly aggressive on track. Get a young, highly skilled driver in there asap;
Danny Ric: love him, but time to cut him loose. He’s just a placeholder currently;
Hulkenberg: great guy and scoring points, but again put a young, talented hot shoe in the car. How many points then?;
Zho: I guess his Chinese backers are funding Sauber; can’t see any other reason for him being there. Can’t wait for Audi to take the reigns;
Sargent: do I need to say anything?
Save of the season; if not decade thus far? Alonso! Unbelievable reaction time for 42 years old. He truly is a beast. What a career he could have had given better choices.
