Someone mentioned it above, but Max is developing a routine of complaining about something on the car not being ‘right’, but still ripping off fast laps and pulling out a lead. Max is not ‘getting the best out of a second tier car’; it is still the class of the field, even though certain parts of the field have made substantial improvements.

Put Lando; Piastri; George, etc. in a RB and we’d all be screaming about what a season we’re watching.
Based on the feedback from other drivers in the past comparing themselves to max and based on checos performance this year I would be led to suggest you are mistaken on your opinion of car rankings.
I would believe that if you put max in say the maclaren right now he would be winning by margins similar to last year. The RB right now is at best the #2 car and at worst the #4 car on the grid.
It’s ok if you want to still hold onto the idea that the only reason max wins is still the car under him though.

PS: Please no one state, ‘but Perez’!; that proves it’s all Max, not the car. No; just no! 😂
The evidence says you are wrong on this. The RB20 is not the class of the field…not since Ferrari and McLaren have brought out their updates. Even Mercedes is close to catching up. It is still a good car but it is no longer the best. Canada was won on strategy and Verstappen’s skill. Right now…it is Verstappen that is the difference.

Assuming Perez is given an identical car, and of course he is, my point was that Max is getting the best of what I still consider to be the best car in the field of 10, and if another top flight driver was in Perez’s car, they’d be right up there challenging Max for the win, and securing the WCC for RB.

I agree with all of you that huge strides have been made by Ferrari; (except strategy wise of course 🤦‍♂️), McLaren and Mercedes. But I haven’t heard too much mentioned in the way of upgrades thus far in the season for the RBs, so that could well be the reason for the closing of the gap. Should RB release upgrades; and yes I know James Allison stated the recent RB upgrade looked more like a ‘downgrade’, the gap between Max and his rivals could well extend again.

Again, the RB20 is no longer the best car in the field. But, Verstappen is the best driver in the field by a good margin. Verstappen and perfect strategy is why Verstappen won. Not the car. There is not a driver in the field that would challenge Verstappen if you put them in the RB20. Not one....

You need to stop thinking that Perez is a bad as he looks compared to the rest of the field. The RB20 is a difficult car. It's Verstappen that is making Perez look so bad.

Can't dispute that Perez looks bad compared to much of the field. Certainly compared to his team mate!
If his driving is still good, then the RB20 must be a total piece of sh*t.
Which I kind of doubt...

Don’t forget Perez actually was doing quite well in the first 6 races of the year. The car didn’t suddenly become hard to drive. It’s just the last 3 races he has been abysmal either through bad luck, personal problems, or not being good in the rain.

He better turn it around quick though because the other teams are scoring more points, and there is less margin for error. If Ferrari didn’t have a disaster weekend, they might be leading the WCC.

I pray to the Gods that young talent is given a chance, and not because they’re able to bring in tons of cash. Liberty kind of has that sorted.

Looks like Lewis' move to Ferrari comes with a new dress code.

He would be escorted out of Italy if he continued to dress like a circus clown. They say the Italian press is hard on the sports figures there but it may be a whole new level with the fashionistas. 😂

You guys and Lewis's outfits lol. Isn't there a twitter handle somewhere to stay up to date on all of his paparazzi shots?
