What an unlikely pair. Mr. Happy and Mr. Stoic.
Good stuff.

And Williams is still behind without a backup chassis https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/al...80cp_JA.Vbb5eh
I didn't read Vowread comments against excel but rather a misuse of the tool.

I've read all their problems as being behind on investment and having to change internal processes. That is the argument Vowles made last year with capital investments and now with Excel spreadsheets. It's insane they ran the the car build in excel.

Hey, I'm pretty good with Excel, maybe....

Where are T cars when we need them?????? I feel for Logan even though Alex is one of my favourites...
And I'm sure glad Helmut isn't my boss: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/ma...aces/10590054/

Ok, but why isn’t there a spare chassis? Is it a Williams budget issue, a FIA regulation, a calculated risk based on probability of needing a spare chassis? I’m pretty sure Sainz needed a new chassis after the manhole incident in Vegas. Ferrari were prepared and are still trying to get their $2m in damage reimbursed.
Anything that takes away from on track experience for the fans whether it’s a car, a team member, tire rationing, etc needs to be addressed. This is F1 ffs, the self proclaimed “pinnacle of motorsports” and at times its being run like a college student on a stipend.
