I don't get people's egos sometimes. Your son is winning at an unprecedented pace. He dominated last season. The other contenders brought new and better cars to the grid this year. Newey moved the goalposts again with the RB20 and Max picked right back up where he left off last season. And Jos's plan is to blow up the team from within? Brilliant....

This whole thing makes me think of Jos playing the role of the accountant, and the Red Bull exec in Horner's corner as Morgan Freeman.

I'm not so sure. I think Red Bull holds all the cards. They have the best car, and Max knows it.

Max knows that the RB is the car to be in until the end of next year. After that... who knows.
I do have to give credit to Max... for a guy who is only 26, he really is savvy and polished when it comes to dealing with the media and his statements during all this controversy. Like his driving, he hardly ever makes a mistake where the media can take what he said and go with it. Toto, HAM, Russell, Marko, Horner, and others on the grid can learn a lot from his way of answering difficult questions. LEC, Freddy V and perhaps the Ferrari officials are much the same in terms of being polished and not giving the media any fodder.
