With the Verstappen camp making noises about leaving, I think they'd be crazy not to bring in Carlos as a potential #1.

Hamilton to Merc in '13 was a a bigger gamble. Manufacturers seem to rarely dominate successive generations. Merc could be headed back to the top, Verstappen sniffs it, and RB are left with Checo.
Point is, RB should boot checo and sign Carlos long-term.

RebBull all the way. What makes you think Mercedes will somehow build a good car/engine when this current car with a proven engine sucks?

No they aren't. They have lost several key engineers. They are going down, not up.

If they can sign Carlos long term that would be great. But Carlos and Max were teammates at Toro Rosso and it did not go well. Wewillsee....
Here are my predictions.
Max stays with RedBull through 2026. It's the smart move. If the new car/engine sucks Max jumps to Ferrari and replaces Lewis for 2027. If the RedBull is good Max sticks around and surpasses Lewis for wins and Championships. He becomes the GOAT.
Also the Mercedes F1 2026 car is terrible. Toto is fired by Mercedes corporate at the end of 2026 and the team is sold in 2027.
