There were no decent pictures so who knows the history - leap of faith.
I know the 04 makes some unhappy but that's the market and it sold very fast.
Bubble - who knows if one is really worried about the value vs a hobby it's not a good idea at any price.

I posted A couple of months ago about actual 100% known sold prices vs asking prices.
I quoted 385k at an auction in the USA in August and I think just over 400K for a silver one sold by a regular contributor on this forum around November time I think.
It appears that big numbers are being asked but cars are just being flipped between dealers.
Here in the UK asking prices are up to 600K now. But what is interesting is that the PTS blue one at an OPC was initially 565k(gbp) 4 months ago. It hasn't sold for over 4 months so what to do?... put up price to 575, then 585 and now 600K Gbp.
Hallmarks of a bubble?
I don't know the answer, just observing from the sidelines.

Plan on keeping my 16M for quite a long time. Such a thrill to drive!

My brother-in-law is looking to buy a CGT and send me this link...not sure if it is an old and expired listing or a storied car, but it is the first CGT I've seen in quite awhile that is listed for less than $400k...asking is $335k. It does have 27k miles on it, but the asking price is still low compared to what we've seen recently.

Could be the buy of the year if the car's condition is good and no stories, just high miles.

Looks like you are - taking it to the bank won't bother you. Hope the CGT and the Ford GT goes to a good home. Don't mean that in a bad way - but driving them vs Wall Street is the real value and the only reason I participate in this thread was to find one now another and offer / share reasons not to sell the best analog car in the world.
Just surprised to see CGT prices rise rather quickly.

I agree it's a nice combination - best two shifting open tops ever built out of Maranello and Leipzig.

I'm not sure how to read the market anymore...thought we saw new highs recently with cars in the high $500k and low $600k and now they are selling in the high $700k...not sure that I feel comfortable with the increases being that rapid but what do I know...for the smarter guys here...anybody care to venture speculating what is driving the increases and who are the buyers at these prices?
