lol, you forgot the most important step.....need to be patient. Patience's during installation, patience's for it to connect. patience's when you go to the car after 30 minutes and you see the dreaded "if this phone is connected for the first time........" after you've already gone thru the connection process. Just give it a minute. Absolutely love mine now!

When I installed my MaxSpeed back up camera I had everything working and I was also installing the center radiator at the same time. I set the e brake for the radiator install and was not aware that on a Porsche the B/U camera does not work with the e brake on. I took everything apart, checked connections and even switched the emulator. After my third call to MaxSpeed they said, by any chance do you have the e brake on? Boy did I feel dumb.🤔

Hi TWalk, you are completely right. That is the biggest challenge, to be patient.....

Is there an idiot proof step-by-step video posted anywhere? Preferably for a 991.1 911.

There is, some guy with a British accent did one on the removal of the PCM from a 991. The video is well done. Unfortunately, I don't have a link but at least you know and can search.

Yep, thats the video and youtuber. He has a couple of good videos on the topic.

Correct his videos are for the Joyeauto but to clarify:
The two major hurdles that the video covers is agnostic to the unit you are installing are:
1.) How to remove the PCM from a 991
2.) How do you break apart the PCM unit.

It covers 95%. This thread has the last 5% and tips for the specific iSudar unit.

Yes, who hasn’t heard about Auto-Amateur!!! The guy is famous… 😊.

I actually commented in this specific video, with my phone experience installing the Joye system before I moved to Isudar…
