Nice! When I cut the resonators off of my '16, everything in the bathroom next to the garage would vibrate when it would crank up. Now...time for some AC/DC!!

My dealer in Georgia just emailed me - they have a GT350R just in on the showroom floor - white with black stripes. Asking 99k - negotiable. PM me if interested.

I just met a guy who paid $10k over MSRP here in NJ...I gotta think the demand is starting to wane with another year of production...if I can get one at MSRP I'm in.

He did very well, most are listed for 110K+ and getting it.

10k over for a GT350-R is, presently, a good deal... from what I gather once the R hits that 80k-85k range it typically doesn't last long. And if it's under 80k then it's usually gone in no time once word spreads around.

If you're seeing non R at MSRP it's most likely a Tech Pack - they are worthless on the track as they have zero cooling and were also on a stop sale for the last 6 months due to a oil line recall. The dealers ordered these over the Track Packs 3 to 1 (because they came with leather and a neat stereo).

I've come across 2 non-Rs at just under MSRP. Didn't pull the trigger as I think the Rs will get there soon.

Why do you want R? Track pack does pretty much the same thing.

To be honest I keep swaying back and forth.

The R just looks a litle more aggressive and I like the interior treatment as the non-R looks a little plain without the red stitching - so mainly cosmetics. I also believe the R will have better resale.

Default R Code Shelby GT 350

I've had a deposit on an R Code in South Florida for a year and no confirmed delivery date. I'm at +20k. I have seen some "deal" '16 R's delete, delete cars and a '17 without Electronics Package. If anyone out there knows of a car available at a better price please let me know.

I don't know how much better an R Code is than a '17 non R. The one thing I'll say is that there doesn't seem to be many '17 R's. I'm told that that hold up is wheel supply. Of course, that's the reason to buy the R in the first place. If '18 is the last year, and if the '16 production is any indication, there won't be many more than 1500 total production. In fact, so far it seems that there are fewer '17 R's than '16's. Any thoughts?

I understand.

I own a 17' gt350 track pack. Really good car for the road and occasional track.
If I could get an R at msrp I would have got that and added rear seats. Have two kids.

R will likely hold value better but the CF wheels would only be wall art for me. I always buy extra wheels and tires for track.

Gt350 has way more character than m3/m4 and does very well on track even tho it's a bit chubby.
