In an enclosed trailer, factory D-rings are not often placed to work well with wheel bonnets. If you have the option to install e-track I would use a system similar to this:

Or if I had to use the factory D-ring locations common to most enclosed trailers, I would use T-hooks in the factory slots in the chassis:

IMO, these are the methods which pose the least risk of damage to any part of the car.
Cheers,
Mike

^I appreciate the time taken on straps, etc. A few weeks ago I ordered a 28' FL and have Etrack all the way down for the reasons stated, and I added 4 extra D-rings. But in the mean time, I need to haul with poorly placed D-rings and through the wheels.
I sent Ford an email asking for clarification.
That would be really great as you make good stuff.
I have a donor car for you to use in CO. Leave those stubby hills and come on out.

Drove the gt350 today at Sebring! My regular 996gt3 is getting prepped for container ride.
Toyo R888R carried the weight of the car pretty well. Brakes held up ok. (Stock fluid and pads)
As good of a DD the gt350 it's actually not to bad on track. Soft and heavy but hides the mass.
It definitely has its niche. A $50k track pack gt350 is hard to beat.
But,
It's no Porsche.

It's made for a one car owner that DD and does occasional track days. And don't want to spend $150k on a gt3.
Gt4 is way better on track but also 2x money. And not as good as a daily. Ford definitely found a good niche.

I agree, porky, and I don't care for the exhaust anymore. Sounds horrible in the car, it sounds like Cherry Bombs on a jacked up 4X4. Why did I buy this car?! Oh I remember, to get a Ford GT!
I can't wait until my new home and shop are built!
