Just won KBB best resale value: http://www.mustang6g.com/?p=10715

Also, GTK it carries on for 2018 essentially unchanged bar a few new colors: http://www.mustang6g.com/?p=10469

Are dealers still asking over MSRP for the GT350 (non R). Possible to easily order at list? Last time I checked maybe 9 months ago was a waste of my time.

A little work and you will be able to find Non R GT350 for MSRP or a little less. Go to the cold country. This is no different than looking for a Porsche GT car allocation for MSRP. Once the gates open with the oil line recall fixed the 16's sitting on dealer lots will hit the market and should be discounted as the 17's are out and 18's are on the horizon.

Gent's,

Late to the party and former GT3 owner. If money is not necessarily an issue, how are we feeling in general on R's holding value? Are the build quantities of R's going to stay low moving forward? General opinion? Paying over going to kill me? As always it's not about just the resale but I would be interested in not losing my *** as it's not a P car!

You'll never "lose your ***" on any of the super high performance Mustangs Ford offers - resale is very strong. You might take a small hit but nothing substantial. Just as an example I purchased a 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca off the showroom floor for 50k (msrp). 3 years later, 22 track events and 26,000 miles I sold it for just under 40k direct to a Ford dealer (no trade / purchase included). I imagine the R will hold even stronger.

Is there anyone who has seen anything new on the possibility of the gt350 getting a dual clutch transmission? I'm close to buying one but I'm curious about this.

Thank you. Just spoke to a gent in the know and two year old cars are trading at MSRP or a smidge over he said. Total build through 2018 will be 1500 pieces. I think you are right on.

I've heard rumors but nothing confirmed or that I truly believe at this point. I personally would be surprised Sean if they add a dual clutch at this point.

Good luck. I really like mine.

If you are talking about the R I personally would be quite surprised if you can find one 2 years old or not for less than 10-15000 over. If you can get one at close to MSRP jump on it.

Good luck

I highly doubt ford is going to go Dual Clutch. They are partners with GM in the 10 speed auto tragic development. Seems to get rave reviews in the Vette and Camaro.

You won't be disappointed Mr. Adair! I own quite a few cars and this car is really really nice. Even my wife who never rides in anything that I own (too loud, too smelly, too hot, too low, no A/C, ...) is impressed and feels happy for Ford.

Looks like it will get a dual-clutch in the near future.

No reason Ford couldn't just use the GT dual-clutch in the Mustang GT350/R
