Para - you missed out on the Sept Barber event. It's sold out already, but the waiting list is short. NOLA has PCA and NASA coming up in Oct.
I've never been on Barber so it's even harder to get in as a 1st timer with most groups - novice slots seem to fill up faster! One of these days, I hear great things about that track.

edit: I'll PM you - NOLA is looking good so is Road Atlanta

The true jack of all trades.

I will say the 997.2 GT3 is in my top 5 - but I'm not convinced it's worth me selling the GT350 and 997S to accommodate one.

Have you test driven one? Could give you what you have in both cars in one package. Love mine. Sometimes, life is simpler when you have less cars.

I agree with this statement. One toy is all I need. But I wasn't blown away by the 997 GT3 that I test drove. Ride was very harsh. Power was just not there. Clutch was stiff! 991 GT3 was literally better in every way. For me.

I haven't given the 997.2 a proper test drive yet, 991 GT3 would be incredible too.

They're great cars. I'm not sure how much faster than a GT350TP it would be, but it wouldn't be by much.

Go test drive it, it is a GT3, its fun to drive, and sounds great.

Para: I can tell you that the 991 GT3 is epic on the track. I had a complete session in one from the navigator's seat on track at Lightning at NJMP. It was ASTOUNDING. The speed and pace it carries, the accelaration and drive out of turns, the poise even after hitting curbing gators at speed, the speed of the up and down shifts are lightning fast, the braking capability hurts your neck muscles and turn is amazing! Wow. Just wow.

Really drove home how underutilized my poor RS is going for ice cream and coffee.

The 991 GT3 still needs more rear downforce IMO.

If it still needs more own force and it carried the pace it carried at Lightning I'm even more impressed.
