Do you recommend the softer or stiffer spring? What is the noticeable difference if any?

Thank you,

Richard

We recommend the 2mm (Stiffer). It is what comes stock in the GT4s now. It just gives you a bit tighter shift and a faster snap back to center.

Using the shifter and cables, the shift for 2/4/6 seems to be pretty stiff compared to 1/3/5 which literally clicks in (very happy with the shifting into 1/3/5). However 2/4/6 seems to require alot of effort to engage.
Is it the adjustment of the shifter / cables that I've somewhat not done properly? Any instructions on how to adjust it?
Thanks

When I bought my Cayman S track car, I fell in love with everything about it except for the shifting. I struggled to find gears and had little confidence I was in the gear I wanted. I installed the Numeric Shifter and Cables and it is amazing how much better it is. Looking back if I bought another Cayman, this would be the first Mod I would do. Also the guys at Numeric are great to deal with. my $.02

just wanted to say that i am VERY pleased with the positive feel i get with your shifter in my 987.1 Cayman. I did a lot of research after just getting this car and from what i found i decided to give you guys a shot. I am so glad that i did and it was my first actual mod to the car. It really changed the driving experience for me. I have let a few friends drive the car and they are super jealous of how good it feels. I think they will become customers very soon. I do plan on adding the cables at some point but for now i am super happy with just the shifter and aftermarket shift ****.

It probably is just a minor adjustment somewhere! We can always figure out what the problem is. Give us a call sometime!
