I installed the shifter and cables in my Cayman S and got to drive it on track for first time this week. I have had my CS for about a year and loved the car except for the sloppiness of the OEM shifter. Regardless of whether you track you car or just do spirited drives, I would say this should be your first upgrade. $1200 and a couple hours, this is the biggest bang for your buck. It shifts like a race car should shift and the guys at Numeric are first rate.

Spent last weekend in my Cayman and this shifter just keep getting better. The more I drive it the more I love it.

Ranks as the best upgrade I have on my car ( and I have a lot of them)

Lol thanks for the reminder. Dan and the guys at Numeric are great, to say the least. Great customer service and communication. Even FaceTime'd with Dan, himself, to help troubleshoot some issues I was having. Lesson learned is... follow the instructions!

I purchased the 991 bundle and switched last minute to the 2mm spring. During install, I also had my Function First transmission mounts installed. Shifting is phenomenal in this thing and I wish I had done it sooner. Shifting definitely requires more force/muscle, but in a good way. The whole feeling is more substantial and less sloppy than stock. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Thanks, again, Numeric!

Just had mine installed in the GTS, also did the 2mm spring. Car is completely transformed, absolutely ridiculous shifting - and cool noises/vibrations from metal link points.

We recommend the 2mm spring. That's what comes stock on the cars now. Its just a bit tighter in the shifting and snap back to center.

Any deals or sales coming up? I just got a 991.2 GT3 and already have the Numeric Shifter/Cables combo in my 987. Can't have the GT3 feel worse than the Boxster!
