Snagged a 1:35 at Barber last weekend, but dummy deleted on accident it to free space on the Garmin. Here's a 1:36.1. Still have to find those 3 seconds Wes has on me . . .

Nice job. I was fighting traffic the entire time, and never got a clean lap. I guess with the heat, the traffic, and on 200 TW tires I didn't do too bad. Had a 1:37.9 and got my optimal down to a 1:36.3. With some clear track I'm pretty sure I could have broken into the 1:36's.

Gotta stop pussyfooting it around and move up to red group.

You definitely lost a second or 2 in traffic on the back straight. Blue group was super crowded both days. Red had much more room - especially later in the day.

Yeah, never really cared one way or another before, but this weekend kind of changed my mind.

Yeah it was the worst I've seen it. Still had a great time, trying to chase my friends around.

Yeah I ran Blue group for years but finally got tired of not getting clean laps. Like I told you at Sebring you are more than ready for Red.

Was that Casey in the Camaro??

Yeah, that was Casey. You need to get on his butt, for slowing me down. Haha

Nice work!
In that heat and with the traffic, this was a super rare and solid lap.
While the PCA October event at Barber is sold out, our December 10 & 11 event has openings. Cooler weather with smaller run groups - you do the math.
Sign up here.
Enjoyed meeting some of these talented drivers at Barber this weekend; looking forward to next time.

Great lap jwr!
If only you had a opportunity for a clean lap...
Were you on the Falkens?

No video but here’s my best time for my first track day (ever) at NYST - Uptown

981
Falken Azenis
Track alignment
30 psi front
33 psi rear

Not sure how this stacks up against other GT4’s because it doesn’t seem like the op has been updated in some time.

Tires were a bit hot by lap 15, and I overcooked it, well ****. That said, Goodyear 3R tires are amazing for a street-able tire, they feel like hoosiers.

Jesus that is fast. I just ended a 2 day PCA event at Barber and the best I could muster in a 992 GT3 Manual was 135 flat. Cudos! I don't have enough brass ballast.
