How do you like the DSC controller? I'm thinking of adding one but not convinced it will be any faster

Thanks. It was my first time trying the SC3s out and honestly, they were great. I have no complaints. Needing to soften them up with a couple of sessions and they took a lap or 2 to really stick. Keep them in the right temp/pressure range and they are very happy. I was getting tired of destroying expensive Cup2s in 2 weekends. Even if these only last 2 weekends also, they are a few hundred bucks cheaper and grip very well so far.
Yes, they are the stock size, no changes there.
With the DSC, it's very nuanced. I can't claim to be such a sophisticated driver as to feel the difference if I'm being totally honest. It's supposed to keep the car more stable, adjust the response of the suspension in an effective way. What I can say is that I felt very confident and the car almost felt like the suspension of the CS in iracing in that there is this pogo like bounce that is very fast and very stable. Car is very chuckable. I guess the main thing is if you feel extra confidence in the suspension's response then you are likely to be faster. I don't have a true a/b. All I can say is the car really feels fantastic with the alignment, suspension response and tire combination.

I am running a similar alignment, perhaps i'll throw the DSC in over winter and see how it compares.

I got 22 heat cycles to be exact. That was 5-6 days for me as well. 2 sets in a row just about identical wear. Maybe my expectations are too high but I figure if the sc3 feels as good as the cup2, even if it lasts the same, I save a few hundred bucks. Sidewall appears to be a bit stiffer which gives it a more squarish profile. I’m hoping that helps given most of the wear is the outside shoulder. Also same in terms of front vs rear wear.

I can get 6 days out of cup2's with a rotate when it's cooler, in summer they get annihilated much quicker. Fronts die before the rears. What pressures do the SC3 like? I find cup2's are happiest in low 30's, above 35 they start to fall off.

Thanks for the review, they look/sound like a very good option so would like to try them. I can get some very slight rubbing on the left rear at WGI, I think its going full throttle in the compression at T2. I wonder if the squarer sidewalls of the SC3 will exacerbate this, seems odd though as I am running aftermarket wheels but the rear offset is stock. Was also thinking the DSC might add some more compression to the rear dampers which would prevent it. Either that or just go straight to a set of Bilstein Clubasports, but I really like the dual nature of the stock suspension so I am loathe to change it (yet!).
