Congrats on the lap time and the 718 upgrade! Looking forward to seeing more of your PB's as you get used to the new car. Curious what you think of of the RT660's as well as the DS3.12's.
I just got a set of 19" SM-10's and put 255/285 RE-71RS's on them. So far 4 track days with them and I'm loving it. I reverted my sway bar to M/M to make up for the rubber loss in the rear and it felt amazing - what I would imagine S/H feels like on 245/295 (I only ever went as far as M/H). I'm planning to try the 265/305 combo as soon as I get camber plates installed.
I got down to a 2:07.5 last week at WGI. Big thanks to @Montaver and @Helix8 for the advice coming off my last post - I tried to take all of it into account and came away very happy with >3 seconds off my previous PB. Sadly I forgot to put my SD card back into my SmartyCam after Day 1 so I don't have video, just the data. On Day 1 my best was a 2:08.7 which I don't feel is worth sharing anymore lol. Laps 4 and 6 were both 2:08.1 here, so I was feeling fairly consistent too!
Last month I was at Lightning with Metro and had a blast chasing all the other GT4's. I hadn't been to the track in 4 years (when I was just starting), so definitely a lot to learn here still. My best for the event was a 1:13.8.

That's awesome, well done! Always a great feeling to go back to a track and really improve, especially one like the Glen. 2:07 is a very respectable time indeed, it's a monster track takes a lot of confidence
Based upon the later sessions, Garmin says the optimal is a 1:34:06; perhaps with cooler weather a 1:33 is possible?
Same setup (headers, tune and track alignment), but with Bridgestone RE-71RS tires. This was the 5th track day on them and they are toast, but clearly maintained grip until end of tire life. They like lower pressures.
A new personal best @ Barber Motorsports Park: 1.34.67

Al, that is an insane lap. Congrats, bud. I hope you shamed Woody in my old car. You absolutely have a 1:33 on fresh R7s. Have you ever run them on this car?
I'm here with Gridlife in the White/black/yellow GT4. I'm bone stock but definitely giving up too much time in 1/2 and 12. My min speeds there are way off! Everywhere else I'm at or above, but losing a few mph down the straights. Only in the 38s as of now.

Your experience with the Re-71rs’s mirrors mine. I notched a personal best well below my previous one at RATL last weekend on my sixth track day with them, and looking to run them again next weekend. The definitely love low pressures. I start at 25 psi on my GT4, and typically come off the track around 31-32.
Falken RT660 265/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear. Apex SM wheels
Tractive struts, DSC, front camber plates, rear toe links.
Awesome, this will be a perfect benchmark for me when I get down there! I'm on a similar setup, minus the struts and DSC. Even the same tires, though I'm planning to move to Nankang CR-S's when they're done.

That is hauling at Barber on street tires. I wish you had a vbox so I can see where to pick up some time. I am barely faster with 100 more HP and "double wishbones".

Thank you. I hope that you can join the Alabama Region PCA for our September 23 & 24 DE @ Barber; we love our TX gang!

Sweet! What hot pressure did you like? I felt that 34 hot worked for me.
I found the 71RS to last and actually get faster with wear. My best times were when they were basically slicks.
