Hey, great to finaly see some Nurburgring time. Even I Love this thread, its almost a reason for me to move to USA as they are totaly cool with driving their car on track. And to compare laptimes! Love this thread even I have nothing to compare with as its all USA tracks.

In my country like all drive their GT cars on track but fore some strange reason no one talk about It public. Very strange. Hence I Love them USA guys as they are totaly open with lap the GT car. Also I do this, but very few In my country. I dont know what they are afraid of..

2015 I did 7.30min BTG at Nurburgring in my stock GT4 and I been Looking for someone to put out faster Times on youtube since then. But have not find any. And on here not many ride the ring, Hence nice to se your post on euro tracks!

Glad to read you.

I'll be back in NS end of July. Should be in the 7.3x if no traffic.

My youtube and IG are fabsan84

Insurance coverage probably. Most trackdays in Germany are officially "car control / driving safety trainings", no competition, no runs against the stopwatch. Insurance will cover (most of them, unless they specifically exclude, need to check your general business conditions). If you post laptimes, insurance might take some wrong conclusions and deny cover.

I occasionally analyse my rounds after the event So Bilster Berg is below 2 miutes at probably 1.58, without traffic I might end up at 1.57. But that is with Mutkurve in 4. gear due to noise restrictions, using 3rd you can shave of some tenths. Hockenheimring GP I am not that quick, 2.02, there is definitely some time to be found, but I don't drive Hockenheim often (just Afterwork events with typically a lot of slower traffic) as I find it a bit boring.

Nordschleife I am for the very first time on 10 July. Only thing I worry about is to survive Watching laps and using sims to memorise the track, but sense the real thing will be much different.

Here Is my old GT4 lap from Nur. Its 7.30 BTG. Its from 2015, It was back then speedlimit on 3 major spots on track. .

(250km long straight, 200km flugplatz and 250km swedenX) Delta Is ap. 3 seconds due to this. If GT4 Is used well on them 3 spots laptime drop 3 sec If no speedlimit.

Car is stock except other pads and brakefluid.

Here Is Sport Auto GT4 lap. God to compare. I am 6 seconds slower If you time my lap from same sport auto T13 start and end It begining long straight at steelgantry. Reason to compare that stretch Is I am on speedlimit on long straight Hence lose big time as I stay under 250. Also I accelerate BTG start 1 lap and lose time vs sport auto flyger lap.

And my 2 lap car exiting pit on long straight but speedlimit Is killing time here.

So this Sport Auto lap Is one god way to see where we are at .
And this sport auto GT4 lap Is fast as Its only ca. 3 seconds slower than Porsche GT4 factory lap. This sport auto GT4 Is light, Its only 1381kg (no driver) full fuel. (No cage, small gasoline tank, ceramic rotors, bucket seats, etc.) My car Is 1430kg full fuel(no driver)

And I guess your Is simular to my car aswell as few GT4 was that light as sport auto and Porsche factory lap GT4.

Well I improved by best time by 0.2 to 1:39:20 at Laguna Seca earlier this week... hoping for better tomorrow. Here's the video (along with a new GT4 overlay in RaceRender I've been working on). Unfortunately my GoPro mic adapter was acting up and I lost all the exhaust soundtrack...

That was really well driven, Marty. I'm going to have to chase you today instead of the other way around.

Love the custom overlay. I'm just waiting for Marvin the Martian to show up with that sound track! Lol

getting on list for VIR
2:07.34

it was my first time at VIR and its a hard track. I think I can do a 2:05 there but those 2:03 top times are blistering fast and require big brass *****.... Respect.
