How about a double? 981 GT4 chasing a 718 GT4. Met this nice gentleman at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. This is his POV from the 981 GT4 all stock.
This is the same session from my POV in the 718. I'm running Supercar 3R on 19" Apex SM10 wheels with a track alignment (including camber plates and toe links), stock otherwise. I have a faster lap of the day from another session but this was more fun

Great lap, Weswood!
It was very crowded this weekend; extra nice on finding a clean lap!

Matches up with my own experience, the 718 on paper doesn't have a lot of extra power but in real life pulls on the 981 quite significantly.

Advanced
I know. I was actually looking over at the camera that fell and started going on the grass! OOPS
For sure more time in that car. When the Garmin was working 1:33.Even was optimal.

My best lap from Barber on November 20th.
981 GT4, 200 cell cats and 91 octane tune, camber -2.9 and -2.4 on GoodYear SC3 (265/35/19 & 285/35/19).
I'm not sure what the delta in performance is b/t the 718 and the 981, but I do know that Weswood needs to hold a clinic for us.

You sound like you're sliding around a bit. Were those tires worn out by that last lap? I bet you'd get under 1:35 with some slicks.

Thank you.
The tires were good with only a couple of days on them and based upon treadwear they should last two more. The SC3s seem a little slower than the Bridgestone RE71Rs, but they are close.
As you know, Barber has been loud(er) since the repave.
The sirens' song of slicks; it is enticing. First I want to try the GoodYear SC3R and hopefully the Bridgestone RE71RS.
