Modified IX is my daily driver (pretty great in the winter with snow tires) and it laps within 1.5 sec of my GT4.

What are the mods on your IX?

NM... see your sig. I am 2 sec. faster in the GT4 than my Modded IX which had an FP Green, Cams, E85 and other supporting mods.

One of the mods not mentioned is I had the ECU that controls the center diff re-programmed for track use on the Tarmac setting (left Gravel and Snow alone) and I have a Wavetrack front LSD. These cars have all 3 kinds of LSD's at once (front torque-biasing, center electronically controlled, and rear mechanical clutch-type).

Totally stock engine and turbo (except for exhaust, manual boost control - set according to fuel map, baffled oil pan and better head studs) - makes conservative and reliable 335 hp and 345 ft-lbs at wheels (both numbers over 400 at flywheel) when running E85 fuel map, considerably less on 91 octane gas.

Makes total sense... Mine only started falling apart once i went bigger on power.

Jack's Transmission there in CO built my Transmission/Transfer Case with the Wavetrac LSD as well. Lasted me one full season before the engine finally quit.

Decided to part it out and sell it... Got a X GSR and it wasn't the same.

Jack's did my Wavetrac also. Glad I didn't go for more power, I guess...

Do you get wheel vibration on the highway with that spacer? Looks like the wheels will just center based on lug bolting and not the hub.

And what do you think about the stiffer springs on the street? Thanks.

a bit vibration, especially at lower speed. I usually just drive it on the track, so it doesn't really bother me all that much.

the stiffer springs are like having PASM on all the time, you will get used to it after awhile.

I had an S2000 for about a year. A lot of fun on a short track. And they are incredibly cheap to run. The whole car is cheaper than a set of PCCBs.
