No problem really. The car wil not be tracked or rained upon if I can help it.
The only area that seems to have copped a little bit is the rear guards at the bottom behind the tyres but even if it was wrapped I think it would have too. I have done 3500km so far...

James I have been doing a bit more digging and found out that the "Production date" was the actual scheduled date from when you got a commission number. Your actual build date is "Plwk" for product week, so yours came off the line much later. So yours didn't sit around for any length of time.

My car was booked on the ship 24th of May and loaded on the 1st of June, build date 12th May, what am I missing here.

When I look at my AS400 shot, my "Build date" is 28/3/16 and my "Plwk" is 15. I know that my dealer told me that it came out of week 15 which was the week ending 15/4/16 and it got booked on the boat on 11/4/16, loaded on to the boat on the 18th and billed to Porsche Cars Australia on 19th.
This tallies up with week 15, not week 13 (28/3/16). So I don't think your stated build date is correct based on my car's details and meaning its sat around for a few weeks unaccounted for.

I think the build date on your AS400 screen shot isn't the actual build date, only the first date allocated for it.

Edit; My Port delivery date changed in as many days, first it was 10th then 11th and now 12th of July.

Regarding wrapping, my car is white and I have had the full front including "A" pillars, sills up to the panel join behind the scoop, and small strips behind the rear wheels, done in Racewrap Pro that Shane says will not yellow. He has experience with a number of products and he is confident that the material he is using currently will not yellow.
We did not do any disassembly work to wrap into the panel joins as I consider the film is sacrificial and expect I will replace sections at some stage. Also I did not want to disturb the factory build by pulling the car apart. We did however pop the headlights out to tuck the film in behind them, which is a very easy job.
I am very satisfied with the result and Shane was very particular about getting everything just right.

You need the Sat nav subscription for when it goes now the west coast of South Africa and when it crosses the Indian Ocean as well as the Aussie Bight.
