Lol, sorry I forgot to add the NSFW tag.

Looking forward to seeing what they look like with ceramic coating.

My ETA keeps changing, originally it was due on 10th July at port, then 12th and now it has just gone to the 14th. At this rate I'll be lucky to see it any time in July, might even be August.

Could be weather slowing the ship or berth availability at one of the ports.

8 Caymans, 1 911 and 1 Spyder on the boat for Melbourne discharge by the look of it. Along with 1 911, 6 Caymans for Port Kembla. A heap of Mecans for all ports too.

My GTS arrived at the dealer yesterday, collection on Thursday.

Jim it would be interesting to see what they put on your compliance date for the build month. I came out of week 15, mid April, but the build date on the compliance is March, which was my original build date. However the shipping paint protection film applied to the car has a sticker on it saying March 29, so your build date is at the start of production, not end if you are crossing months.

Anyone else asked or asking the dealer to show the car on a hoist for under body inspection prior to collection? Or is this considered ott?

That would be ok, as they have to do the PDI anyway. Just ask them to have it on the hoist for you to look at prior to collection.

I got my dealer to contact me as soon as it got wheeled off the truck and went to look at it then. But obviously you don't get to see underneath it.

That's a lot of Caymans, are they on the same boat as mine? Interesting regarding compliance date, thanks for the heads up. Your car looks awesome, nice wheels.

Yes, same boat as yours. Copy your bill of lading in to a new search for those getting of at Melbourne to show up.

Thanks NBTBRV8, that WWL database is really helpful. The ability to search up to 1000 cargo ID means anyone can dump all the GT4 ROW VINs (or indeed other models) into that search engine and we can see how many have come or are coming Down Under. Some interesting tit bits:

1. The lowest GT4 VIN delivered by the shipping line was to Femantle on 5 Jan 16 =first produced GT4 in Australia
2. The first GT4 delivery from the shipping line was another GT4 on 2 Dec 15 in Brisbane = first GT4 delivered in Australia.
3. 61 x GT4 have been delivered by the shipping line into Australian ports as of today.
4. Looks like another 60!!! examples have been loaded in the last couple of weeks.
5. For GT4, that makes 121 examples now landed or coming.

But how are you identifying GT4 VINS from standard Cayman VINS?
