The boat departs Germany and goes to Belgium, UK, Spain, 3 stops in South Africa, Fremantle, Melbourne, Port Kembla and lastly Brisbane.

It takes 5 weeks to get to Melbourne.

Post back how you go.
My car was built on the 12th of May, that's 15 days ago and no shipping details yet.

I am suprised that it did not go on the boat on the 16th of May. Mine was built on the 3rd of May, was booked on 13th of May and the boat departed on the 16th.

When you put your VIN in the tracking portal does it come up with results?

Search by your commission number then, something doesn't seem right.

The other outlier is that it could be that the car was sent off for a random QA check, which delays the process.

Yes entered Vin No. in the Cargo ID , this is what it says "No records found" and that's it, nothing else come up.

Great, that's all I need. I'll try and look on the bright side and think they'll give my car a good look through.

Ask you dealer for your commission number and search for that.

Also just to check the validity of your vin, put it into here: http://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Porsche

It doesn't tell you much, but see if it says it is a Australian Spec GT4. At least that way you know your VIN is right.

Thanks, validity came up with a boxter order..!!! I think you're definitely onto something here, not right at all.

My dealer had no idea what a commission number is, he said it should be the same as stock number which is one letter and a series of 5 numbers.

All 981s come up as Boxsters on that site from memory. Look down the bottom at the additional details.

The Commission number is one letter and 5 numbers. Get that number. In face you can ask for a screen print off Porsche Australia's Dealer Connect System.

So what do you get when you type the G stock number in to the customer reference field on the WW search?

I don't think it has been handed to WW yet, as it hasn't been invoiced to Porsche Australia by the look of that screen shot and no boat is listed.

For whatever reason Porsche haven't handed it over to the shipping line yet. Not much you can do but keep on trying it daily until it pops up.

I wouldn't worry too much. I just decoded my VIN in the same tool and it came up with a Boxter as well. ☺

Just received WW logistics vessel booking, ETD 1st June with an ETA 10th July. car was built on 12th May, that's exactly 3 weeks to vessel ETD. Had no notification prior today.
Thanks for everyone's help.
