I have been leaning NA since the beginning. The .2 RS will be the last of NA for the RS in my opinion. We still have one more round for the GT3(992) but the GT4 has a way to go with the 4.0. They can tweak(HP) it every 3 years or so.
if the 2020 rumor is true, there’s a lot that can happen between now and then. Will 2019 potentially be a GT-free year for Porsche? Maybe they’re having a issues with the emissions standards after all? So many questions...

The MY discussion is somewhat meaningless. Porsche in the past has introduced cars early but yet those cars carried a later MY. For example look at the Cayman R; it was introduced Oct 2010 with deliveries beginning Apr 2011 and it was classified as a MY12.

ExMB, I don't like you very much. You say a lot of stuff that makes WAY TOO MUCH SENSE. This is an internet forum. Can we please get back to the scientific wild *** guesses with no basis in reality and ad hominem attacks?

Jeez

So maybe a new carman R released in October of 2018, deliveries start in April of 2019 and the model year is 2020...

Also this was posted in other threads/forums re:spyder:

Right at 1 minute, that sounds like the howl we know and love. The rest of it is bassy but that is quite different. You can tell a bit in some of the other acceleration points that the engine is starting to scream. The low end doesn't sound that great though so there's that.

Oh yeah? Well I knew the answer last time too, and didn't tell. And I also knew about the 959 in 1973 when Helmuth Bott was still working on ashtrays for 914s. I even knew (in a pre-birth dream) about the Speedster years before Max Hoffman ordered up a batch of them from Stuttgart. In fact, I whispered the concept to him in a dream. But I wisely didn't tell anyone about these premonitions and insider info, until AFTER the various cars had been released! And that's what I'm doing this time. As soon as the GT4 news is made public I'll confirm with all of you that I knew it already. In fact, I'll write it on a piece of paper right now and show it to everyone after the announcement!

yeah it is for a large part, but at least it offers clues as to when we should expect it.
