I really can't see spending trading my 2016 for a 718. I really don't like the exhaust on the 718 at all.

I was just at my local Porsche dealership where I've been a good customer for a while , the GM is a close personal friend and is as solid a guy as it gets. His dealership leads the Eastern Region in CSI/SSI scores.

He told me that if I bring him anyone that wants to order a new GT4, he would sell it to them for MSRP. PM me if you're interested so I can put you in touch with him. Just about every dealer in the US is marking up orders at this time.

Of course they will. They probably had several drop of the list after the reveal of the miniscule improvements. GL

Very nice of you to pass on the contacts. Can’t imagine so many people have dropped

Yep. Same here. I’m in the Midwest. Someone can have my spot at MSRP. I was second on the list and first guy also dropped off. They have at least two allocations. Delivery in Oct-Nov.

Interesting, according to the internal Porsche docs I saw, first scheduled deliveries are for calendar week 7 of 2020.

Pretty sure no one has any allocations yet - all speculation at this point.

I’ll ask again. I’ll connect interested people to the dealer for my spot anyway (and the spot before me).

Exactly what the GM of my local dealer told me......7th week of 2020 and no actual allocation number so far.

My short review of this new 4.0l engine.

Looks like we are back to the "7" generation : like the 987 Spyder with a mix with a 997.
